What is SweetLife Lane?
SweetLife Lane is a candy (and more) shop in the heart of downtown White Bear Lake Minnesota and is run by us- Matt and Christi Schreyer. After running tech-based businesses for years, we thought for a while about what kind of endeavor would be FUN to work at, put a SMILE on people’s faces and also contribute to the COMMUNITY of our warm neighbors and visitors. After a few years of brewing, it hit us: a candy shop!
White Bear Lake holds a special place in our hearts. Christi was fortunate to grow up in this wonderful town! She loved riding her bike Uptown and to the Cheese Shop, grabbing some fries at Linden’s, beach days on White Bear Lake and Bald Eagle Lake, and cheering on the Bears. Life was less structured and planned.
What we hope to achieve
We feel downtown White Bear Lake could benefit from a place where everyone is welcome to peruse, taste, relax, slow down and connect. Where kids can ride their bikes, families can converse in the sunshine, parents can pacify their kids waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant- dog owners can stop in and get their furry friends a quick treat. We look forward to contributing to the WBL charm and community by bringing you an experience where everyone can take some time for the “SweetLife”. We will be bringing you all types of FLAVORS that will be sure to delight the senses, unique FAVORS and MORE! Stay tuned!
